Job summary

Responsibilities
Commercial & Proposal Management
  • Manage and convert sales opportunities by preparing accurate and commercially sound quotations within agreed timelines
  • Develop detailed proposals covering technical scope, commercial pricing, and commercial terms
  • Collaborate with internal technical, legal, and commercial teams to review contractual requirements and manage deviations
  • Engage suppliers and partners to obtain cost inputs and prepare cost evaluations
  • Identify commercial risks and recommend mitigation actions to protect business interests
  • Support pricing strategies through analysis of market behaviour and sales performance
  • Participate in commercial discussions and negotiations with customers and vendors
Customer, Vendor & Internal Coordination
  • Maintain consistent communication with internal stakeholders by providing updates on proposal status, risks, and commercial strategy
  • Establish and sustain effective working relationships with customers and vendors through regular interaction
  • Engage customers proactively to understand operational requirements and align solutions accordingly
Project & Service Support
  • Work alongside project and service teams to support execution activities where required
  • Assist in service-related processes, including internal audits and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Ensure adherence to compliance requirements, including export control and trade regulations
  • Coordinate with administrative functions to support timely issuance of purchase orders and invoicing
  • Follow up on outstanding commercial matters to reduce overdue receivables
Business & Market Support
  • Contribute to discussions on service strategy, operational improvements, and business growth initiatives
  • Share insights, best practices, and lessons learned with relevant internal teams
  • Support sales and marketing initiatives aimed at promoting service capabilities
  • Track competitor activity and industry developments within the energy and power sector
  • Perform additional duties aligned with business needs
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related discipline
  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in commercial proposals, sales operations, or aftermarket support
  • Prior exposure to the energy, power generation, or related industrial sectors is advantageous
  • Experience in tender submissions, proposal development, cost estimation, contract negotiation, and deal closure
  • Working knowledge of commercial and contractual terms and conditions
  • Understanding of project execution, spare parts, service, and maintenance business models
  • Familiarity with international trade practices, including INCOTERMS and basic export/import procedures
  • Well-developed analytical, planning, and organisational skills
  • Awareness of market trends and commercial dynamics within the energy sector
