Job description

Responsibilities

• Assisting General Manager to monitor and track the existing bank facilities, maintain the trade finance portfolio so as to meet the business needs of commodity trading;
• Assisting General Manager to explore more structure trade facilities and establish bank lines with new banks in accordance with the enhanced trade volume;
• Assist to review the existing bank facilities (negotiate terms sheets, bank charges) and communicate with bank’s RM for answering questions to fulfill the necessary renewal procedure;
• Assisting General Manager to maintain the ship finance portfolio so as to support the fleet expansion;
• Monitoring, recording and tracking amortization repayment schedules for all the existing fleet financing;
• Closely work with shipping department and legal counsel to prepare all the necessary works and documentation for new vessel’s delivery and post financing;
• Assisting General Manager to maintain sound relationships with various trade financing banks and ship financing banks, and maintenance of internal and external documentation for the existing facilities data; and assist filing for the new project discussion;
• Assist to prepare for the external payments schedule and internal application.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or above with major in Finance or related;
• Excellent English and Chinese written and oral communicational and presentation skills;
• More than 5 years of working experience and more than 3 years of financing-related working experience; banking industry experience preferred. Knowledge of regulatory policy in Singapore and China;
• Highly motivated, task driven and performance-based;
