We are seeking a high-potential Talent to join our client's Trading Graduate Programme. This rotational programme is designed to develop future commercial talent for the company by providing broad exposure across key functions that support physical and derivatives trading.

The selected candidate will work closely with traders, operators, analysts, and risk/control teams, gaining hands‑on experience across the full trading value chain.

Key Responsibilities

During the programme, the Graduate will rotate through several commercial support functions, including but not limited to:

1. Market Analysis & Trading Support

• Assist in gathering and analysing market data related to supply, demand, pricing, and flows.
• Support traders with daily market updates, research reports, and preparation of trading decks.
• Monitor key market indicators and provide insights to the trading desks.

2. Middle Office & Risk

• Support P&L reporting, exposure monitoring, and trade validation processes.
• Work with the risk team to ensure trades are booked accurately and aligned with internal controls.
• Assist in preparing daily, weekly, and monthly trading performance reports.

3. Operations & Logistics Coordination

• Learn the fundamentals of physical cargo execution including shipping documentation, operational timelines, and transaction workflows.
• Support vessel nominations, contract execution, and operational troubleshooting.
• Liaise with counterparties, inspectors, brokers, and internal teams to ensure smooth cargo delivery.

4. Trading Systems & Data Management

• Maintain and update trade data and analytics tools.
• Contribute to development of dashboards, databases, or reporting tools using Excel or Python (if applicable).
• Ensure transactional data integrity in the company’s ETRM systems.

Who We Are Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Economics, or related fields.
• Ideally 2-3 years of experience in trading, operations, middle office, analysis, shipping, or commodities-related roles.
• Strong numerical ability, analytical mindset, and genuine interest in commodity trading.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in fast-paced, multicultural teams.

• Proficiency in Excel is required; Python or analytical tools is a plus.
