A travel and tours agency in Singapore is seeking a Tour Consultant to assist clients with their travel planning and booking needs. This role involves conducting research, booking various travel arrangements, and crafting tailored itineraries. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills in English and Mandarin, a degree or diploma in travel and tourism, and experience with computer reservation systems. As a Tour Consultant, your primary role is to assist clients in planning and booking their travel arrangements. This includes offering advice and recommendations on destinations, transportation, accommodations, attractions and activities based on the preferences and budget of clients.
Work hours: 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM, 5 days a week. Work location: Retail outlets (Suntec City Mall, Lot One Shopping Mall, Causeway Point, Downtown East, Jurong Point, Tampines Hub). Competitive remuneration package. Supportive & collaborative work environment.
This position may involve extended periods of sitting or standing along with occasional light lifting and carrying of travel documents or other materials.
The primary work environment is an office setting with regular participation in travel events, tour leading and familiarisation trips as well as occasional involvement in industry events.
