Job description

A Postdoctoral Thymus Biologist position is available immediately at the IMCB Cell Fate and Therapeutics Laboratory. The lab is interested in dissecting the regulatory switches in cell fate determination of immune cell types while developing novel tools and strategies for deriving desired cell types for therapeuticapplications.

Applicants with a strong background in thymus biology and immunology, including organoid and T-cell development, are invited to apply. Successful candidates must be highly motivated, have a passion for research and be able to work in an interdisciplinary environment.

Job Requirements:

  • Ph.D. with a strong research background in immunology
  • Experience in immune cells and organoid culture
  • Excellent analytical, technical and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of biostatistics highly desirable
  • Hardworking self-starter who is comfortable working in a fast-moving interdisciplinary team
  • Strong publication record in peer-reviewed journals
  • Committed and able to work flexible hours
  • Excellent communication, technical writing and presentation skills
