Test Manager – Test Automation / T24

Job Description
This role serves as the Test Automation Expert for Core Banking projects, with responsibility for designing, developing, and implementing end-to-end test automation architectures and frameworks. The candidate will work across T24 modules, microservices, and streaming platforms to ensure robust, scalable, and efficient automated testing solutions.

Responsibilities

• Define automation architectures and solutions for both standalone and integrated testing across all T24 modules for cloud and on-premise environments.
• Design automated test solutions for microservices and streaming platforms such as Kafka.
• Review and analyse business requirements and system specifications to determine the test automation approach, scope, and execution strategy.
• Design and implement solutions for API automation, including mocks, stubs, simulators, and service virtualization.
• Define and integrate CI/CD and DevOps solutions to support continuous testing within the software delivery lifecycle.
• Drive the overall DevOps and testing strategy to enable shift-left testing, reduce cycle times, and maintain high standards of quality.
• Design and implement test data management solutions for complex application landscapes.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including development, DevOps, architecture, and business stakeholders.
• Proactively identify issues and risks, and recommend optimal solutions to ensure test effectiveness and delivery quality.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 6–9 years of experience in software testing, automation, or related technical fields.
• Strong expertise in Core Java and associated object-oriented concepts.
• Hands‑on experience with automation frameworks and tools such as Cucumber, TestNG, Selenium, Rest Assured, etc.
• Proven experience implementing test automation for large-scale T24 programs, with understanding of T24 modules, COB testing, OFS, IRIS, and T24 Outbox.
• Strong understanding of API automation principles and frameworks.
• Good knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools such as GitLab (preferred) or Jenkins.
• Solid understanding of containerized environments and technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Development experience in Spring Boot or similar frameworks is preferred.
• Strong understanding of clean coding standards, branching strategies, best practices, and security scanning.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure (preferred).
• Experience working with streaming platforms such as Confluent Kafka or IBM MQ.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
