Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive secretarial services to lawyers, such as typing, photocopying, scanning, printing, binding, audio-typing, proof-reading, etc.
- Input time for lawyers on daily basis
- Make travel and hotel accommodation arrangement for lawyers and visitors
- Keep track and update lawyers’ calendars accurately
- Assist lawyers with expenses reimbursement claims on timely basis
- Keep proper record of client document and files
- Responsible for New Business Opening, AML and other follow up procedures
- Provide assistance in client billings
- Provide assistance in practice development and marketing related assignments
- Provide administrative support to Office Manager as required
- Provide administrative and secretarial support to visiting lawyers and cover other legal secretaries during their absences
- Cover reception duties and additional ad hoc tasks as required
Requirements
- Education and/or Experience: At least 3 – 4 years legal secretarial experience, preferably in international law firms
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word, PowerPoint
- Excellent command in English.

- Excellent typing and proof-reading skills and attention to details
- Well-developed analytical and problem solving skills
- A strong team player, willing to share other people’s workload when needed
- Able to work under pressure and willing to work overtime if needed
- A self-starter who desires to show ownership and commitment to the job
- Exercises confidentiality and discretion
