We are looking for a proactive and adaptable individual to support project management and administrative functions for a communications project. The primary responsibility will be to act as backfill personnel for an operations‑monitoring team at the client’s site, upon request, in the capacity of a Project Executive, providing project support and administration to client project.

On regular workdays, the candidate will serve as a Project Executive within NCS’s project management team, supporting another project.

Responsibilities

This role is primarily a vendor management role, overseeing vendor role in System Management and Operation & Support activities required to maintain the systems’ Service Level Agreement (SLA) such as:

  • Certifications such as CCNP/ CCIP/CCSP or above and other relevant IT industry certificates.
  • Contract management
  • System health monitoring
  • Security monitoring/tracking
  • Sites Support
  • OS, Software and firmware patching
  • Review and implementation of “change” and “service” requests
  • Management of physical Intrusion Detection System (IDS)
  • Equipment obsolescence management

Additionally, the candidate will undertake support work for below‑mentioned activities at customer site:

  • Certifications such as CCNP/ CCIP/CCSP or above and other relevant IT industry certificates highly preferred
  • Support procurement activities
  • Support the submission of security clearance for related vendors
  • Support the annual audit of spare assets
  • Provide support activities such as technical advice or recommendation
  • Technical queries by the relevant customer
  • Recommendation for project management scope
  • Provide support activities such as operation and maintenance manual review
The ideal profile should have
  • Project Management Skills
  • Provide day‑to‑day project management assistance, including documentation, coordination, and tracking of deliverables.
  • Willingness to be deployed to support a separate operations‑monitoring team at customer site as needed.
  • Foundational knowledge of project management principles and tools (formal certification is a plus but not mandatory).
  • Technical familiarity with telecommunications infrastructure and service delivery.
  • Strong initiative, a collaborative mindset, and eagerness to learn and grow within a dynamic environment.
Key Technical Acumen
  • Basic understanding of mobile network design and operations, particularly in areas such as CORE, RAN (Radio Access Network) and RF (Radio Frequency)
  • Understanding of Internet routing protocols and technologies including TCP/IP, OSFP, BGP, MPLS/VPN.
  • Understanding of common TCP/IP‑based services, including DNS, DHCP, TFTP, SSH, SMTP.
  • Analytical and trouble‑shooting skills in areas of technical fault isolation and rectification.
  • Working knowledge of Network Management System.
Specific Technical Skillset Requirements (Preferred)
  • Knowledge of 4G EPC Core, RAN and/or Radio Frequency isUnderstanding of Network Automation, Python, Ansible
  • Certifications such as CCNP/ CCIP/CCSP or above and other relevant IT industry certificates.
