We are seeking a Technical Manager to oversee the operational performance and technical integrity of our commercial office and retail properties, ensuring that all building systems operate efficiently, safely, and sustainably to support tenant satisfaction and enhance asset value.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee day-to-day technical operations across multiple commercial and retail assets.
  • Manage building systems, including electrical, plumbing, and life safety, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
  • Lead preventive and predictive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.
  • Supervise and coordinate service providers, contractors, and on-site engineering teams.
  • Plan and execute capital improvement and technical upgrade projects.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Support sustainability initiatives, including energy efficiency and building performance optimization.
  • Assist in annual budgeting, forecasting, and lifecycle planning for building systems.
  • Provide technical support during tenant fit-outs, refurbishments, and handovers.
  • Develop and maintain building documentation, asset registers, and maintenance records.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering (or equivalent technical field).
  • 6-8 years of experience in technical or engineering management within commercial or retail property portfolios.
