Job description

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, development, and delivery of scalable applications using Java 8 and Microservices architecture.

• Provide technical leadership to the team, including code reviews, design discussions, and best-practice guidance.

• Design and implement RESTful APIs and integrate with internal and external systems.

• Drive architecture decisions, ensuring high availability, performance, and security.

• Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and Architects to translate requirements into technical solutions.

• Ensure adherence to coding standards, CI/CD processes, and DevOps best practices.

• Troubleshoot complex production issues and drive root-cause analysis.

• Mentor and guide developers to improve technical skills and delivery quality.

Requirements

• 9 years of experience of hands-on experience in Java application development, with strong expertise in Java 8.

• Solid experience with Microservices architecture, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud.

• Strong knowledge of REST APIs, JSON, and API security (OAuth2, JWT).

• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., Oracle/MySQL, MongoDB, Redis).

• Hands-on exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git, etc.).

• Good understanding of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP preferred).
