About the Role
The company is looking for a passionate and driven Technical Engineering Section Manager (TSM) to lead its Technical Engineering Section. The Section Manager will optimize plant equipment performance through Preventive Maintenance (PM) and Shutdown Maintenance (SDM) activities, drive continuous improvements, and ensure seamless plant operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take charge of plant equipment and facility PM, manage work request closures, support equipment modifications, and plan SDM schedules and activities
  • Lead workplace safety and health activities within the Technical Engineering Section (TES)
  • Manage Exceptional Case Reports (ECRs) for equipment, ensuring reduction and timely closure
  • Ensure compliance with company MS Control Systems, SOPs, and regulatory requirements
  • Manage section budgets, manpower planning, and yearly operational plans
  • Develop, train, and mentor staff to maintain high competency and performance levels

What They’re Looking For

  • Education: Degree in Automation, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or related field
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years in the manufacturing industry, with team management experience
  • Certifications/Knowledge: Familiarity with ISO certification processes; strong knowledge of chemical plant operations and ESH/safety regulations
