Technical Accountant (US GAAP)

Our client is a digital asset platform that offers trading and payment services. They are seeking a Senior Technical Accountant to join their growing team.

Some of the Key Responsibilities include :

• Research accounting issues, market trends, and regulatory updates, and analyze their impact on financial performance and reporting.
• Guide the finance team on business processes, internal controls, and complex accounting matters.Update and maintain the group’s accounting policies to meet the latest standards.
• Act as the main contact for stakeholders and handle additional tasks to support business needs.

To be eligible for this role you will require :

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics, or business; CPA or advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting or technical accounting, with audit experience as a plus. Candidates from a Big 4 consulting firm with relevant experience shall be considered.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, and proficiency in Excel and financial modelling.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and project management skills, with attention to detail and fluency in English.
