A logistics and operations firm in Singapore is seeking a Supervisor to lead an operations team in lifecycle services. The role involves overseeing inventory accuracy, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and tracking team performance metrics. Candidates should have a diploma in Logistics or related fields, with 2–4 years of operations experience and strong people management skills. This position requires effective coordination with internal departments and the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
1. Team Leadership & Supervision
Lead, supervise, and motivate an operations team handling lifecycle services such as records management, data storage, asset tracking, and secure destruction.
Plan and allocate daily manpower to meet operational schedules, SLAs, and productivity targets.
Conduct daily briefings, toolbox meetings, and performance check-ins with team members.
Provide on-the-job training, coaching, and guidance to ensure team competency and compliance.
2. Operations & Workflow Management
Oversee end-to-end operational activities including receiving, cataloguing, storage, retrieval, transportation, and disposal of physical and digital assets.
Ensure all processes follow Iron Mountain’s standard operating procedures (SOPs), quality standards, and service level agreements.
Monitor daily operations to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and minimal errors.
Escalate and resolve operational issues, delays, or exceptions promptly.
3. Safety, Security & Compliance
Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols, security controls, and regulatory requirements (e.g. data protection, chain of custody).
Conduct regular safety checks and ensure proper use of equipment, tools, and PPE.
Enforce confidentiality and information security standards at all times.
Support audits, inspections, and compliance reporting as required.
4. Inventory & Asset Control
Oversee inventory accuracy through proper tracking, labeling, and system updates.
Ensure all asset movements are correctly recorded in warehouse management or lifecycle systems.
Investigate discrepancies, losses, and damages and implement corrective actions.
5. Continuous Improvement & Reporting
Track team performance metrics such as productivity, accuracy, turnaround time, and incidents.
Prepare daily or weekly operational reports for management.
Identify process improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency, quality, and cost control.
Support implementation of new systems, workflows, or operational initiatives.
6. Stakeholder Coordination
Coordinate closely with internal departments such as planning, transport, customer service, and compliance teams.
Support customer requests and ensure service expectations are met or exceeded.
Act as the first point of escalation for operational or service-related issues.
Diploma or equivalent qualification in Logistics, Operations, Supply Chain, or related field.
Minimum 2–4 years of operations experience, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory or team lead role.
Experience in warehouse operations, records management, logistics, or lifecycle services is an advantage.
Strong leadership, communication, and people management skills.
Familiar with SOP-driven environments and safety-conscious operations.
Comfortable using operational systems (WMS, inventory or asset tracking systems).
Able to work in a fast-paced, operational environment and handle multiple priorities.
