Our client, a reputable Asian bank with a growing Private Banking franchise, is seeking an experienced and strategic Team Head - Private Banker (North Asia). This role leads a team of Relationship Managers focusing on clients from the North Asia region across the high-net-worth (HNW) and ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) segments.

About the Role

The Team Lead will be responsible for managing and developing a team of Private Bankers while driving business growth and enhancing client engagement in the North Asia market. The ideal candidate is a seasoned private banker with strong leadership capabilities, deep client networks, and a proven track record in delivering high-quality wealth management solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, coach, and motivate a team of Private Bankers/Relationship Managers focused on North Asia clients.
  • Drive AUM and revenue growth through strategic client acquisition and expansion of existing relationships.
  • Manage a personal portfolio of HNW/UHNW clients to demonstrate advisory excellence.
  • Guide the team in delivering tailored wealth management solutions, including investments, wealth planning, and financing.
  • Ensure strong risk management, governance, and compliance with internal and regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate closely with product specialists, investment advisors, and wealth planners to provide holistic client solutions.
  • Contribute to business strategy and execution to strengthen the bank’s North Asia franchise.
Requirements
  • Extensive private banking experience with strong focus on North Asia client segments.
  • Proven leadership experience managing Private Bankers/Relationship Managers.
  • Strong track record in AUM growth, revenue generation, and new client acquisition.
  • Deep understanding of investment products, wealth planning, and cross-border client needs.
