Talent Acquisition & Training Assistant

Location: Singapore, Central

Reporting to: HR Specialist / HRBP

Industry: Food & Beverage (Multi-Outlet)

Working Hours: Monday - Fridays, 9am - 6pm

Job Purpose

To support end-to-end recruitment and training coordination for outlets and HQ, ensuring timely hiring, smooth onboarding, and consistent execution of training programmes.

Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition Support
  • Support full recruitment cycle for frontline and HQ roles (job posting, screening, interview coordination, offer preparation).
  • Liaise with outlet managers on manpower requirements and hiring timelines.
  • Coordinate walk-in interviews, job fairs, and recruitment events.
  • Manage recruitment platforms (e.g. Social Media, FastJobs, MyCareersFuture, temporary staff platforms).
  • Prepare employment contracts and onboarding documentation.
  • Track recruitment metrics (time-to-hire, hiring sources, vacancy status).
  • Maintain accurate employee and recruitment records in HR systems.
Onboarding & Training Coordination
  • Coordinate onboarding sessions, pre-employment briefings, and induction programmes.
  • Arrange training schedules, venues, attendance tracking, and materials.
  • Support rollout of mandatory training (e.g. workplace safety, food hygiene, service standards).
  • Track training completion and maintain training records.
  • Liaise with trainers, outlet managers, and operations teams to ensure training execution.
  • Support evaluation of training effectiveness and post-training feedback collection.
HR Operations Support
  • Assist with employee lifecycle administration (joining, transfers, confirmations, exits).
  • Support manpower reports and basic HR data analysis.
  • Handle employee queries related to recruitment and training matters.
  • Ensure compliance with MOM requirements and internal HR SOPs.
  • Provide ad-hoc HR administrative support as required.
Requirements
  • Diploma or Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in recruitment, HR operations, or training coordination (F&B or retail preferred).
  • Familiar with Singapore employment practices and hiring channels.
  • Strong coordination and organisational skills; able to manage high-volume hiring.
  • Detail-oriented, reliable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work with outlet operations teams.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and HR systems (HRIS experience is an advantage).
