Job description

Duties & Responsibilities

• Manage, patch, update, and perform OS hardening for Windows & Linux Server environments.
• Ensure that all servers and virtual machines (VMs) are regularly updated and running efficiently.
• Administer and maintain commercial network devices including routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues related to network infrastructure.
• Assist in the maintenance and optimization of cloud environments in AWS and Azure.
• Perform regular checks and maintenance tasks on system/storage equipment. This includes ensuring optimal performance and identifying potential issues before they impact service.
• Ensure timely patching and updating of servers, VMs, and network devices, keeping systems secure and compliant with industry standards.
• Proactively monitor network devices and services, diagnose issues, and implement solutions
  to ensure uptime and optimal performance.
• Develop and maintain detailed system documentation for all infrastructure, including system configurations, network diagrams, and maintenance procedures.
• Respond promptly to incidents or issues affecting infrastructure, perform root cause analysis, and take corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Implement and follow security best practices for Windows & Linux Server and network devices.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and internal policies.

Skills & Experience

• Minimum Diploma in Computer Science or IT related studies.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in IT industry with at least 2 years in systems & security arena.
• Knowledge of networking and IP/TCP protocol.
• In-depth knowledge in systems security issues.
• Hands‑on experience in security‑related tasks such as OS tightening, patching and updating, virus scanning will be an added advantage.
• IT Certification in system & storage, network, database, virtualization, cloud technologies will be an added advantage.
• Good communication skills and positive working attitude.
