Job summary

A leading security solutions provider is seeking a System Engineer in Singapore to provide technical expertise in CCTV solutions and support throughout the sales cycle. The ideal candidate will have a degree in a relevant field and at least 1 year of experience in system engineering. Strong knowledge of network structures and security products is required, along with excellent communication skills and the ability to travel if necessary.

Qualifications

• Minimum a Diploma or Degree in relevant fields.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience in system engineering for security systems.
• Experience with web fundamentals: HTML, JavaScript, CSS.

Responsibilities

• Design and propose CCTV solutions including relevant models and configurations.
• Conduct product demonstrations showcasing i-PRO solutions.
• Provide technical support throughout the sales cycle.

Job description

Purpose

To provide technical expertise, including both pre-sales and post-sales support, for i-PRO’s professional range of security products, such as Video Management Systems, IP cameras, and NVRs solution across operations in APAC region.

Responsibilities

Solution Design & Proposal

• Design and propose CCTV solutions, including appropriate camera models, NVRs, storage systems, and network configurations
• Develop system architecture diagrams and Bills of Materials (BOMs)
• Ensure all proposed solutions align with industry standards and meet customer-specific requirements.

Product Demonstrations & Proof of Concept (POC)

• Conduct product demonstrations showcasing i-PRO solutions and AI analytics capabilities
• Support POC deployments to validate system performance and functionality in real-world scenarios

Training Enablement

• Assist with VMS operations and provide troubleshooting support
• Deliver pre-sales and technical training sessions for partners and internal teams
• Share technical documentation such as datasheets, comparison guides, and integration references
• Offer guidance on third-party system integration

Pre-Sales and Post-Sales Technical Support

• Provide technical expertise throughout the sales cycle and post-implementation to ensure successful deployment and operation

Active Learning Platform Management

• Collaborate with i-PRO Americas to manage and enhance the training platform
• Develop onboarding materials and monitor integrator progress
• Share course completion insights and feedback with the sales team

Requirements

• Minimum a Diploma or Degree in Computer Studies/Computer Science/Information Technology/Electronic Engineering
• At least 1 years of relevant experience in system engineer for security system
• Good Knowledge of Network Structure, Firewall, VLAN, etc
• Good Knowledge of security products such as CCTV, IP camera, NVR, monitoring software, Major VMS platforms
• Good Knowledge of MS Window Server Operating System, Active Directory, DNS, SAN & NAS
• Experience in web fundamentals skill HTML, Javascript, CSS
• Understanding of database design, query and systems (SQL)
• Communication and presentation skills
• Able to travel occasionally with APAC if required.
