A leading recruitment firm in Singapore is seeking an experienced professional to architect and deliver a production-ready market-making system. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience in building market-making or high-frequency trading systems, strong proficiency in C++ or Rust, and a proven ability to design end-to-end trading platforms. Responsibilities include low-latency system design, exchange integration maintenance, and collaboration with trading teams to ensure robust system logic.
Architect and deliver a production-ready market-making system, including pricing, quoting, risk management, order management, market data ingestion, and monitoring components
Drive low-latency system design and optimization within cloud-based infrastructures (e.g., AWS, GCP)
Design and maintain exchange integrations, addressing venue-specific behaviors and constraints across crypto derivatives markets
Build simulation and testing environments to support strategy validation, backtesting, and stress scenarios
Implement resiliency mechanisms such as automated failover, redundancy, and safeguards against exchange downtime, API instability, and rate limits
Partner closely with trading teams to translate strategy requirements into robust system logic and workflows
Define and enforce engineering best practices, including code quality, system reliability, and deployment processes
10+ years building market-making, HFT, or real-time trading system
Strong proficiency in performance-critical languages such as C++ or Rust, with Python used for research and tooling
Proven ability to design and implement trading platforms end-to-end, spanning market data, execution, and risk controls
Hands-on experience optimizing network performance and latency in cloud or non-co-located environments
Deep understanding of exchange interfaces, including WebSocket, REST, and FIX-style protocols
Track record of close collaboration with traders or quantitative teams
