Full Job Description

Our client is seeking a proactive M&E professional with a background in Sustainability and Electrical Engineering to provide critical technical guidance to their Operations team. You will be the technical authority on electrical systems, from reviewing tender documents and managing project handovers to solving complex operational challenges and driving energy efficiency initiatives.

Core Responsibilities
  • Assess tender submissions and maintenance agreements for essential M&E systems such as switchgear and generators
  • Manage technical site operations including quality inspections, compliance verification, and deficiency corrections
  • Identify root causes of M&E system issues and deploy sustainable corrective measures
  • Formulate strategic asset replacement programs and oversee electrical load management
  • Execute enhancement projects through all phases from planning to operational handover
  • Perform sustainability assessments to pinpoint conservation opportunities and optimize building system efficiency
Required Qualifications
  • Diploma or certified qualification in Electrical Engineering or associated field
  • Current Grade 7 Licensed Electrical Worker accreditation
  • 3-5 years of practical experience in M&E operations and Sustainability
  • Working knowledge of Low/High voltage installations, SCADA systems, and energization protocols
  • Additional consideration for candidates with energy management and audit background
  • Exceptional communication skills with proven team leadership capabilities
  • Methodical problem-solver with strong organizational skills and adaptability
  • Cooperative team contributor with proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
