Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Surveyor Assistant to support surveying activities for a major Oil & Gas project in Singapore. The role involves working closely with the Lead Surveyor and senior survey team, receiving on-the-job coaching while assisting in field and office surveying tasks. This position is suitable for candidates with up to 7 years of experience who are looking to further develop their technical skills within large-scale industrial projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Lead Surveyor in establishing and checking survey control points
  • Support high-precision levelling works under supervision
  • Assist with GNSS surveys for control, construction, and as-built support
  • Help with target placement, setting out, and alignment checks
  • Operate surveying equipment under guidance and ensure proper handling and care
  • Assist in collecting, recording, and organizing survey data
  • Prepare basic survey calculations, sketches, and field notes for review
  • Support preparation of survey reports and documentation
  • Coordinate with construction and engineering teams as directed
  • Ensure strict compliance with HSE requirements and site safety procedures
Equipment Exposure (Training Provided)
  • Total Stations (Leica TS16 or equivalent)
  • Digital Levels (Leica LS15 or equivalent)
  • GNSS surveying equipment
Requirements
  • Diploma or Degree in Land Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline
