Job summary

A leading engineering and construction firm is looking for a Surveyor to supervise the erection of precast segments for bridge and viaduct construction in Singapore. The ideal candidate will hold a Diploma in Surveying and have at least 5 years of relevant experience, particularly in LTA projects. Proficiency in AutoCAD and strong interpersonal skills are essential. Candidates should be able to work under pressure and be willing to learn. This role ensures quality and safety standards are met throughout the construction process.

Qualifications

Job description

Responsibilities

• Report to the Construction Manager
• Precast works survey prior precast segment erection
• Segment erection supervision – Supervision and coordination during actual precast segment and cast-in-situ erection works
• Geometric Control – Utilizing commercial geometric control software and total stations to ensure accurate alignment and positioning of precast and viaduct elements
• Generate and monitor As‑built survey data to compare with Design specs and ensure compliance with LTA’s design/engineering criteria
• Liaise and coordinate with the project team, subcontractors and relevant authorities to ensure smooth operation and compliance with safety and quality standards
• Attend internal meetings, if necessary
• Propose alternative work method or other ways to increase productivity

Job Requirements

• Diploma in Surveying or Geo‑spatial information and technology or its equivalent
• Minimum 5 years relevant land surveying work experience
• Able to perform task under pressure and multi‑task
• Hardworking and willing to learn
• Team player
• Have relevant survey experience in land surveying specifically for bridge and viaduct construction from substructure to superstructure
• Experience in LTA Projects (NSC) is an advantage
• Proficient in AutoCAD and other common surveying software and equipment (total stations, etc.)
