Job Summary:

We are seeking a hands-on and resourceful Supply Chain Manager to oversee planning, inventory management, and supply chain for our growing FMCG business. This role involves around procurement strategy and policies, budget control and supplier relationship building. This is a strategic and operational role suited for someone who thrives in a dynamic, lean environment and is capable of building efficient procurement and planning processes from end to end.

Key Responsibilities:
Purchase Planning
  • Analyse inventory levels of products across different locations to determine future inventory demand and needs.
  • Develop and maintain purchase plans based on demand forecasts, production schedules, and inventory targets.
  • Monitor inventory levels, analyze usage trends, and recommend stock adjustments to avoid excess or shortage.
  • Coordinate with the Product Development Team on sourcing, price negotiation, and supplier performance monitoring.
  • Prepare regular reports on purchase plan vs. actual performance, lead time, and supplier reliability.
  • Maintain accurate purchase records and ensure compliance with company procurement policies.
  • Support cost reduction and process improvement initiatives in purchasing and inventory management.
Supplier Management
  • Establish and maintain good relationships with suppliers, operate with integrity, and serve as the main contact person for resolving supplier related issues and disputes.
  • Evaluate suppliers’ performance periodically based on Supplier Performance Matrix and initiate discussion with suppliers to drive improvement program.
  • Support Product Development Team to negotiate with Suppliers on pricing, terms, and conditions to secure the best possible value without compromising on quality or delivery timelines
3PL Partner Management
  • Conduct regular business reviews and performance evaluations with 3PL partners.
  • Resolve operational issues promptly to ensure service continuity.
  • Report key logistics metrics (e.g., on-time delivery, order accuracy, inventory accuracy, cost per shipment).
  • Identify areas of underperformance and work with 3PLs to implement corrective actions.
  • Maintain visibility and transparency in supply chain operations through data-driven reports.
  • Identify and drive cost optimization opportunities without compromising service quality.
Continuous Improvement Program
  • Suggest cost-saving initiatives based on cost analysis on services.
  • Evaluate how supplier factory processes can be enhanced based on feedback.
  • Review outcomes using available records and information to determine effectiveness of work processes and procedures.
  • Identify potential risks in supply chain and propose contingency plans to mitigate disruptions.
Requirements:
  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Marketing, or similar discipline.
  • At least 8 years of experience in procurement or purchasing and proven track record of managing supplier relationships.
  • Demonstrated success in negotiating contracts and securing cost-effective deals while ensuring high quality of products and delivery standards.
  • Strong analytical and negotiation skills, able to secure most suitable deals with external service providers in company’s interests.
  • Good interpersonal and management skills.
  • Experienced in Microsoft Excel for cost analysis, reporting, and data tracking.
  • Ability to forecast, multitask, and work cross-functionally.
  • Comfortable in both strategy and hands‑on execution.
  • Proficient in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems such as Oracle Netsuite.
  • Experience in wholesale trade, fast moving consumer goods or retail industries is highly preferred.
