Job summary

A logistics firm in Singapore is seeking an experienced planner to manage order confirmations, inventory, and production schedules. The ideal candidate should have a diploma or degree in Logistics or Supply Chain Management and experience in the electronics sector. Responsibilities include demand analysis, maintaining data quality in SAP, and generating reports. This role requires strong organizational and communication skills.

Qualifications

  • Experience in logistics management or supply chain required.
  • Experience as Planner or Scheduler in Electronics sector is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Handle order confirmations and liaise on urgent shipments.
  • Set up allocation buckets in SAP System when demand exceeds capacity.
  • Analyze demand and steer product line planning.
  • Prepare 3 months rolling forecast for raw material.
  • Ensure timely production loading and parts stock.
  • Liaise with production on critical part issues.
  • Manage inventory targets and obsolete stock.
  • Maintain master data and ensure data quality in SAP.
  • Assist with quality quarantine procedures.
  • Generate monthly internal reports.
  • Coordinate semi-finished goods returns.

Job description
Job Responsibilities:
  1. To handle order confirmation and liaising on urgent shipments..
  2. Setting up Allocation bucket provided by PM in SAP System when demand exceed capacity
  3. Analyze Demand situation and steer Product Line planning.
  4. Analysis and prepare 3 months Rolling Forecast for raw material preparation.
  5. Ensure timely production loading and follow up to ensure parts are put to stock timely.
  6. Liaise with production on critical parts pull in / push out.
  7. Meet Inventory Target and manage obsolete/slow moving stock
  8. Ensure Optimum stock level in factory (FG, Wafers, structured panels)
  9. Maintenance of Master Data and ensure Data Quality in SAP.
  10. To assist the team per Quality Quarantine procedure to block out the affected bad lots before shipment.
  11. Generating of monthly reports for internal reporting purposes.
  12. Co-ordinate Semi-Finished Goods Returns, Credit & Debit Issues.
Education/Experience Requirements:
  • Diploma / Degree in Logistics or Supply Chain Management
  • Prior work experience as Planner or Scheduler (Order Fulfillment / Logistic) in Electronics sector is preferred.
