Job description

Duties and Responsibilities

• Support the Head of Department to develop a shared learning vision for the team as aligned with the department’s vision

• Support Head of Department in curriculum leadership and strategic planning to establish effective frameworks to monitor and evaluate instructional programmes

• Promotes a community of learners and culture of innovation of team members

• Has strong knowledge of the curriculum and pedagogy to improve students’ learning outcomes

Job Requirements

1. A good undergraduate degree in the relevant discipline. BA (History/Social Sciences) preferred
2. A Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) from the National Institute of Education (NIE), Diploma in Education from NIE or any other equivalent teaching qualifications is preferred
3. Proficiency in the use of education technology and data analysis will be an advantage
4. Comfortable with classroom and student management
5. Passionate about teaching the age group of students from 13 to 16 years old
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
7. Good team leader and player
