Job summary

A precision engineering company in Singapore is looking for a Purchasing Officer to handle sourcing, negotiation, and purchase of materials. The ideal candidate will have a Diploma in Engineering and strong negotiation skills. Responsibilities include monitoring deliveries, analyzing quotes, and liaising with suppliers to ensure quality and cost-effective procurement. This role requires effective communication and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Preferred to have NTC / Diploma in Engineering field or equivalent.
• Advantageous with practical machining and costing background.
• Good negotiation skills, in purchasing at the lowest possible cost without compromising on quality and delivery.

Responsibilities

• Responsible in executing directives for the Purchasing Department.
• Source, negotiate & purchase of materials, especially electronics and mechanical components.
• Monitor the purchase WIP to ensure correct quantity and delivery fulfillment.
