Ensure smooth and safe operations of the facility, including steam systems and auxiliary equipment.
Monitor and assess plant operating conditions via control system parameters, BMS, and distributed control systems.
Conduct routine field inspections to verify safe and optimal equipment performance.
Lead and supervise boiler and plant operators to maintain compliance with process parameters and emission standards.
Identify opportunities for plant optimization and support implementation of approved initiatives.
Develop, update, and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for operations and maintenance activities.
Analyze and report on steam system performance and operational data regularly.
Respond to and recover from process upsets and equipment malfunctions.
Perform regular inspections and testing of equipment to ensure safety and efficiency.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs using CMMS.
Inspect facilities for potential hazards such as leaks, corrosion, or extreme temperatures.
Monitor steam pressure and temperature to ensure safe operating conditions.
Advise management on process improvements and cost-saving opportunities.
Ensure compliance with Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) regulations.
Carry out other duties as assigned by the Site Manager.
Class 2 Steam Engineer Certification registered with MOM/Singapore Polytechnic.
Proficient in FMEA, HAZOP, and Job Hazard Analysis methodologies.
Strong leadership, interpersonal, and decision-making skills.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
First-Aider Certification is a plus.
Demonstrates a strong safety mindset and adherence to WSH standards.
