The Company

Our client is a leading player in the agriculture and fresh produce sector with a long‑standing history and a strong reputation for quality and innovation. Operating across multiple markets in Asia, they are seeking a Head of Finance for Asia to support their sustainable growth and excellence in production and distribution.

The Role

Reporting to the VP Finance, this is a strategic and hands‑on role, partnering closely with business leaders to drive financial performance and support decision‑making across diverse markets. You will lead a team and drive FP&A activities, provide commercial insights, and ensure robust financial planning and analysis for the region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes for Asia
  • Deliver timely and accurate financial analysis to support commercial decisions
  • Partner with business units across multiple markets (China, Taiwan, Thailand, Singapore, Vietnam) to optimize performance
  • Oversee regional P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow management
  • Provide financial modeling and scenario planning for strategic initiatives
  • Support treasury activities including cash management and FX exposure
  • Drive process improvements and implement best practices in a dynamic environment
  • Manage and develop a high‑performing finance team
Your Profile

As the successful candidate, you will possess a degree in Accountancy or ACCA with the following relevant experience.

  • CA/CPA preferred
  • 10+ years of experience in commercial finance, ideally within FMCG or CPG industries
  • Strong FP&A expertise with solid budgeting and forecasting experience
  • Regional exposure and experience managing multiple SKUs across diverse markets
  • Hands‑on approach with ability to thrive in less structured environments
  • Commercially savvy, forward‑thinking, and resilient with strong critical thinking skills
  • Experience in treasury and intermediate financial modeling
  • Proven leadership experience managing teams
  • Ideally exposure to ERP systems (SAP, Navision) and BI tools (Power BI)
  • Experience in vertically integrated businesses (sales, distribution, manufacturing) is a plus
