Job summary

A leading transport operator in Singapore is seeking an Assistant Station Manager to manage station operations and ensure passenger safety. Responsibilities include coordinating emergency responses, assisting passengers, and performing administrative duties. Candidates must have an engineering background and be customer-service oriented. This role requires working on rotating shifts and offers comprehensive training programs to develop necessary skills.

Qualifications

  • Ability to differentiate all colours.
  • Experience in frontline customer service preferred.
  • Ability to work on three rotating shifts including weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

  • Man or drive the Passenger Vehicle according to duty roster plan.
  • Coordinate and respond to all emergency situations in the train.
  • Conduct security patrol in the train and report faults to OCC.
  • Ensure passenger safety and take remedial action when necessary.

Skills

Customer-service oriented
Effective interpersonal skills
Proficient in English and preferably one other official language
Basic computer literacy

Education

NITEC/ Higher NITEC with Engineering background
