Job description

STAFF NURSE (ORTHOPAEDIC)!

Working Hours: 5.5 days (Mon to Fri: 8:30am - 5:30pm, Sat: 8:30am - 12:30pm)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care during orthopaedic imaging procedures (X-ray, MRI, CT scans).
• Assist with patient preparation, ensuring proper positioning and comfort during imaging, and monitor vital signs throughout procedures.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including radiologists and orthopaedic specialists, to ensure seamless patient care and accurate documentation of patient records.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, and assist in orthopaedic surgeries and procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Educate patients and families on health management, post-operative care, and radiology procedures.
• Maintain a safe, sterile environment, adhering to infection control protocols.
• Assist with OT appointment bookings, insurance claims, and MediSave processing.
• Collaborate in the development and execution of care plans with an emphasis on holistic, patient-centered care.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, quality standards, and best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Diploma in Nursing from an accredited institution.
• 2-3 years of experience in orthopaedic nursing or diagnostic imaging.
• Valid Nursing Registration with the Singapore Nursing Board.
