Job summary

A leading healthcare provider in Singapore is seeking a Registered Nurse to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients. Candidates should have a nursing qualification recognized by the Singapore Nursing Board and 1-2 years of experience in an acute hospital setting. Opportunities include working in the ICU or CCU. Applicants must be fully vaccinated for Covid-19 and able to perform shift work.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse or Nursing qualification recognised by the Singapore Nursing Board.
• At least 1-2 years’ nursing experience in an acute hospital setting.
• Fully vaccinated for Covid-19 as per MOH’s definitions.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate total nursing care for assigned patients.
• Perform a variety of nursing procedures and patient education.
• Work in Cardiothoracic Surgery wards/ICU or Cardiology wards/CCU.

Job description

You will assess, plan, implement and evaluate the total nursing care for an assigned group of patients, as well as perform a wide variety of nursing procedures and patient education that meet patients’ needs. You will have opportunities to work in the Cardiothoracic Surgery wards/Intensive Care Unit (ICU) or Cardiology wards/Coronary Care Unit (CCU). You will be required to perform shift work.

Job Requirements

• Registered Nurse or Nursing qualification recognised by the Singapore Nursing Board with at least 1-2 years’ nursing experience in an acute hospital setting
• Documented proof of:
  • i. Measles (or Mumps, Measles and Rubella) vaccination or serological evidence of measles immunity; and
  • ii. Diphtheria (Tetanus, Diphtheria and Pertussis) vaccination taken during preceding 10 years at prevailing point of reference as required for all healthcare workers under the Healthcare Services Act with effect from 3 January 2022. Applicants without these vaccinations are welcome to apply if they undertake to complete the vaccination(s) before work commencement upon successful interview and are offered employment
