Social Media/Marketing Executive (XHS Specialist)
We are looking for a Social Media / Marketing Executive who specialises in Xiao Hong Shu (also known as XHS / 小红书 / “rednote”). You will be responsible for managing our official Xiao Hong Shu account, running paid campaigns, and working with KOLs to grow our brand presence and drive conversions.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, create and schedule content (posts, notes, short videos, reviews, etc.) that fits Xiao Hong Shu’s style and audience.
- Set up, run and optimise paid ads / promotions within Xiao Hong Shu to achieve awareness, engagement and conversion goals.
- Identify, shortlist and engage suitable KOLs / influencers for collaborations, seeding and campaigns.
- Coordinate with KOLs on content angles, timelines, deliverables and performance tracking.
- Monitor account and campaign performance (followers, saves, shares, comments, CTR, conversions, etc.) and prepare regular reports with insights and recommendations.
- Conduct market and competitor research on Xiao Hong Shu to identify trends, hot topics and best-performing content formats.
- Work closely with the broader marketing team to align Xiao Hong Shu activities with overall brand and campaign objectives.
Requirements
- Diploma / Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Media or related field preferred (other disciplines welcome with relevant experience).
- Strong familiarity with Xiao Hong Shu (RED / 小红书) as a user – understands platform culture, trends and user behaviour.
- Good writing skills and a strong sense of aesthetics for social media content.
- Comfortable with data and basic performance metrics (e.g. reach, engagement, CTR, conversions).
- Able to work independently, take initiative and manage timelines effectively.
- Good communication and coordination skills, especially when dealing with KOLs and internal teams.
Preferred (but not mandatory)
- Prior hands‑on experience managing a Xiao Hong Shu / RED account (brand or personal) with proven growth or results.
- Experience running paid ads on Xiao Hong Shu.
- Experience working with KOLs / influencers (negotiation, briefing, follow‑up).
- Experience or strong interest in [beauty / skincare / lifestyle] industries (adjust to your brand).
