Job description

- 1-year contract (renewable & convertible)

- Up to $3,300

- Mon to Fri: 8.30am - 6pm (required to do OT at times)

- Jurong (main office). Have to travel to multiple sites.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage the on-site installation of outdoor camera systems, ensuring all work is completed efficiently and according to project specifications.
• Lead and coordinate a team of technicians, installers, and subcontractors.
• Conduct site assessments to determine the most effective camera placements and configurations.
• Ensure that all safety protocols and industry regulations are followed during the installation process.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their specific needs and ensure their satisfaction throughout the project.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues related to the installation of camera systems.
• Monitor the progress of installations to ensure they are completed on time and within budget.
• Perform quality control checks to ensure systems are functioning correctly before handover to the client.
• Maintain accurate records of installation activities, materials used, and any issues encountered on site.
• Train and mentor junior technicians and installers to ensure high standards of performance and safety.
• Provide regular reports to management regarding project progress, challenges, and completion timelines.
• Ensure that all equipment and tools are maintained and used properly to avoid damage or loss.

• Mon to Fri: 8.30am - 6pm (required to do OT at times)

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent from a recognized university.
• Proven experience as a site supervisor, or in a similar role, with experience in outdoor camera system installation (CCTV, security cameras).
• Strong technical knowledge of security systems, including installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints, schematics, and technical documents.
• Strong communication skills and ability to interact with clients, team members, and management.
• Problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues on-site.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and industry best practices.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to various sites as required.
• Ability to lift heavy equipment (up to 50 lbs) and work in various outdoor weather conditions.
• Ability to climb ladders and work at heights, as required for camera installations.
