Job summary

A major construction company in Singapore is seeking a Civil Engineer with a degree recognized by the Singapore PE Board. The candidate should be a registered Resident Engineer with experience in supervision, particularly on LTA projects. Qualifications

• Registered Resident Engineer with IES/BCA with valid certification in Singapore.
• At least 1 year of working experience in Singapore.
• Experience as a PE assignee for standing supervision of works.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule work according to the programme.
• Liaise with Professional Engineer on Temporary works.
• Handle technical and engineering problems.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule work in accordance to the master and detailed work programme
• Liaise with Professional Engineer on the Temporary works
• Liaise with consultants (QPS) for technical issues and coordinate site activities with subcontractors
• Handle technical and engineering problems
• Provide guidance to supervisors in relation to construction works and ensure work progress according to schedule
• Maintain quality standards, carry out site inspections and resolve technical issues on time
• Prepare report and method statement whenever necessary
• Manage workers and monitor their work closely to keep site safe and neat
• Supervise ongoing site activities closely

Job Requirements

• Degree in Civil Engineering recognised by Singapore PE Board
• Registered Resident Engineer with IES/BCA with valid certification in Singapore
• At least 1 years\' working experience in Singapore
• Experienced as a PE assignee for standing supervision of works, preferably with LTA projects.
• Ability to communicate well with project principal and subcontractors
• Able to commit to long work hours to meet tight project deadlines
