Key Responsibilities

Site Coordination & Supervision

  • Oversee and coordinate daily site activities to ensure smooth progress and adherence to the project schedule.
  • Supervise and support site teams, including subcontractors and junior coordinators.
  • Monitor workmanship and ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and quality standards.

Technical & Documentation

  • Review construction drawings, identify discrepancies, and propose solutions.
  • Coordinate with consultants, architects, engineers, and subcontractors on design clarifications and technical issues.
  • Manage site documentation such as permits, method statements, RFI submissions, and inspection records.

Progress & Reporting

  • Track construction progress and highlight delays or risks to the Site/Project Manager.
  • Prepare daily/weekly reports, site checklists, and progress updates.
  • Assist in planning work sequences and resource allocation.

Safety & Compliance

  • Enforce site safety regulations and ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
  • Conduct toolbox meetings and ensure safe work procedures are followed.

Stakeholder Management

  • Liaise with clients, consultants, authorities, and internal teams for site-related matters.
  • Assist with coordination meetings to resolve technical and operational issues.
Requirements
  • Diploma/Degree in Construction, Civil/Structural Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
  • Minimum 5–8 years of site coordination experience in building or infrastructure projects.
  • Strong understanding of construction methods, sequencing, and technical drawings.
  • Good leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiar with local building codes, regulations, and authority submission processes.
