The successful candidate will prepare detailed cost estimates and collaborate with several teams to ensure accurate project scopes. Essential qualifications include relevant engineering degree and experience in shipyard estimation. This role offers a pivotal involvement in achieving both operational feasibility and commercial success.

Qualifications

• Experience in shipyard estimation for newbuilding, repair or conversion.
• Experience in commercial and/or estimator capacity.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates covering labour, materials, equipment and subcontracting.
• Take part in commercial activities and marketing company's solutions.
• Review project specifications, drawings and client requirements.
• Develop and submit tenders or quotations.
• Coordinate closely with procurement, engineering and production teams.
• Participate in tender meetings, site visits and client discussions.
• Maintain an updated database of rates and pricing information.
• Support cost control efforts.
