Job summary

A semiconductor company in Singapore is looking for a candidate to handle production setup and related troubleshooting. The role requires a Diploma or Degree in Engineering, preferably in Electrical or Mechatronic fields. The ideal candidate should be bilingual in English and Mandarin, possess strong analytical and communication skills, and the ability to work independently. Additionally, experience with wafer sorting and testing platforms is advantageous. Shift work is also required.

Qualifications

• Min. Diploma/ Degree in Electrical/Electronic/Mechatronic/Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience in wafer sort testing environment is a plus.
• Bilingual in English and Mandarin for effective communication.

Key Responsibilities:

• Production setup
• Troubleshoot production setup issues
• Machine down recovery
• Recording of machine down and recovery actions taken in system
• Compilation of daily shift report for operation meeting
• Ensure quality by adhere to SOP and OCAP

Other responsibilities

• Prepare first draft of 3D report for any quality excursion cases
• Maintain general 5S in production floor
• Recover of “other equipment” in production floor
• Assist in data collection for engineering analysis
• Assist engineers for tool setup for engineering work
• Other ad-hoc tasks assigned by the management

• Min. Diploma/ Degree in Electrical/ Electronic/Mechatronic/Mechanical Engineering are welcome to apply.
• It will be an added advantage if you have experience in working with any of the following:
  • Wafer sort testing environment
  • Prober operations (TSK or OPUS)
  • Tester platforms (U-FLEX, J750, HP93000, Magnum SV)
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Good analytical and problem solving skills
• Good communication skills - both verbal and written
• Applicants must be bilingual in English and Mandarin (in order to provide troubleshoot production setup issues with our English and Mandarin speaking counterparts and also, to read and understand English and Chinese documents.)
• Effective organizational skills and able to take initiative, a ‘self-starters’ who is able to work with minimal supervision, with ability to devise solutions to complex problems
• Will be required to do shift work
