As part of its growth, an exciting opportunity has opened for a Settlement Specialist to support their growing Iron Ore trading business.

Role

Reporting to Settlement Manager, this role is responsible for the complete settlement process, including price adjustments, index‑based pricing calculations, assay interpretation, and final invoice preparation. The role ensures accurate settlement between counterparties, full compliance with contractual terms, and timely issuance of final invoices with all supporting documentation.

Requirements

The ideal candidate should hold a degree in accountancy or a related field and have at least 3 years of experience in settlement operations. Prior experience with a bulk commodities trading company and exposure to iron ore transactions is preferred. The candidate must also thrive in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment, demonstrating adaptability and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
