Job summary

A leading marine services company is seeking a Service Engineer for marine navigation systems based in Bukit Batok. The role involves providing service and commissioning support for marine communication and navigational equipment, along with project ownership. Applicants should have a minimum of 2 years' experience troubleshooting marine navigation equipment, and a relevant diploma in electrical or electronic engineering. The position offers a salary of up to $5200, AWS, bonuses, and additional leave benefits. Overtime and travel may be required.

Qualifications

  • Min ITE certificate/ Diploma in electrical/electronic engineering.

Job description
  • Position: Service Engineer - MARINE/NAVIGATION
  • Location: Bukit Batok
  • Working hours: 5 days/ (Monday- Friday, 8:30am-6:00pm)
  • Salary (commensurate depending on experience): Up to $5200 + AWS + Bonus + 14 Annual Leave + Wellness benefit: Extra 2 days Annual Leave & $200 incentives if eligible.
  • Duration: Perm

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide service and commissioning support for marine communication and navigational equipment locally and oversea.
  • Provide advisory and coordinate work carried out by shipyards or contractor.
  • Taking ownership and responsibility on assigned projects or service jobs, ensuring their adherence toward company standards.
Requirements
  • Min ITE certificate/ Diploma in electrical/electronic engineering
  • Minimum 2 years experience in trouble shooting of Marine Navigation and Communication Equipment.
  • Experience in Radar and Ecdis system will be advantage.
  • Able to work independently with minimum supervision
  • Require to work overtime and travel overseas within short notice
