  • Lead and manage the planning and design of transportation systems and infrastructure, applying innovative transportation planning and engineering solutions while developing expertise in traffic analysis, transportation modelling, and demand forecasting.
  • This role operates with autonomy and accountability, managing deadlines, budgets, and resources to meet targets, while serving in a client-facing, engagement-focused capacity at internal and external events.
  • Responsible for the performance and development of junior team members by providing guidance, training, direction, and constructive feedback.
Qualifications
  • Recognised tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering, Planning, Transport, Urban Studies, or a related quantitative discipline.
  • Over 5 years’ experience in pedestrian planning within a consulting environment, with a solid understanding of pedestrian assessment techniques.
  • Proficient in pedestrian flow modelling software (MassMotion, Legion, Viswalk) and familiar with other transport disciplines, including traffic modelling, microsimulation (e.g., VISSIM), active mobility, and public transport planning.
