Key Responsibilities
Client Care
  • Assess, plan, and deliver speech therapy interventions for clients with speech, language, communication, or swallowing challenges.
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide therapy in individual, group, or specialized settings.
  • Track clients’ progress, evaluate outcomes, and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
  • Provide consultation and updates to caregivers and relevant stakeholders.
  • Refer clients to other specialists (e.g., psychologists, doctors, therapists) when needed.
  • Conduct home, school, or workplace visits when required.
  • Provide speech therapy training and guidance on relevant platforms as needed.
Administrative & Quality Support
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation for all cases.
  • Support operational processes, audits, and quality assurance initiatives.
  • Manage therapy resources and equipment efficiently.
Training & Supervision
  • Guide and support junior staff, volunteers, and caregivers in implementing therapy programmes.
  • Share best practices and contribute to team learning sessions.
Professional Growth
  • Stay up to date with the latest developments and research in speech therapy.
  • Participate in professional courses, discussions, and case conferences to enhance clinical knowledge and skills.
Other Responsibilities
  • Contribute to team events, community outreach, and cross-departmental initiatives.
  • Undertake other related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Speech Therapy (or equivalent recognised by the Allied Health Professions Council).
  • Eligible for registration as a Speech Therapist under the Allied Health Professions Act 2011.
  • Team player passionate about serving in the social service sector and supporting people with disabilities
  • Experience in management and multi-agency collaboration is an advantage
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, including at least 1 year of clinical supervision
