A construction company in Singapore is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to manage the financial aspects of projects. You will liaise with various stakeholders, prepare cost comparisons, and ensure projects stay within budget. The ideal candidate has a degree in Quantity Surveying and at least 5 years of relevant experience, particularly in large scale building projects.
Monitor all financial aspects of the project to ensure the project is within the budget.
Liaise, coordinate and have good rapport with the team members, consultants, client, contractors, suppliers and architects
Prepare and analyze cost comparison
Obtaining quotations, liaising and negotiate with sub-contractors and suppliers
Responsible for measuring quantities and taking off
Preparation of Monthly Main Claim and variation orders to consultant
Preparation of Monthly sub-contractor payment certificate, variation orders, final accounts settlement
Involve in managing and reporting of project budget & cost control
Responsible in Post-Contracts administration for both the Main Contract and Subcontracts
Monitor all financial aspects of the projects to ensure projects run according to budget
Liaise and establish rapport with consultants, quantity surveyors, architects, developers and contractors on certification of claims for payment
Be familiar with various stages of projects to source for the most viable yet reasonable priced materials
Degree in Quantity Surveying or related field discipline
Minimum 5 years and above M&E QS work experience in the Construction industry
Experience in handing tendering large scale building project would be advantageous
