Job description

What you’ll be doing

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and procure specialized mechanical parts, equipment, and tools required for semiconductor fabrication
• Conduct market research, evaluate supplier capabilities, and negotiate competitive pricing and delivery terms to optimize procurement processes
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure reliable and timely supply of materials
• Perform technical evaluations of parts and equipment to ensure they meet quality, safety, and performance standards
• Streamline procurement workflows and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and cost-effectiveness
• Provide technical support and guidance to internal stakeholders on mechanical engineering-related matters
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes to inform procurement strategies

What we’re looking for

• Diploma / Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a relevant technical discipline
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a procurement or sourcing role within the semiconductor/manufacturing industry
• Proven track record in identifying, evaluating, and negotiating with suppliers to secure the best commercial terms
• Strong technical understanding of mechanical components, equipment, and manufacturing processes
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Proficient in the use of procurement software and data analysis tools
