Job summary

A major healthcare institution in Singapore is seeking an experienced podiatrist to manage various foot conditions and provide education to patients. The ideal candidate will hold a degree in podiatry, have over 5 years of relevant experience, and be capable of working independently or as part of a team. Responsibilities include performing diabetic foot screenings, managing wounds, and advising on diabetic footwear. Candidates must also be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

• Must be fully vaccinated with COVID-19 vaccinations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain continuous improvement in quality productivity and patient safety.
• Manage callus, corns, warts, fungal and nail conditions.
• Provide foot care education.
• Perform Diabetic foot screening.
• Manage wounds/ulcers and provide wound care education.
• Advise on Diabetic Footwear.
• Conduct biomechanical assessment and gait analysis.
• Manage sports injuries and provide specific footwear advice.
• Perform partial or total nail avulsion.

Job Responsibilities

• General management of callus, corns, warts, fungal and nail conditions.
• Provide foot care education.
• Perform Diabetic foot screening (Neurovascular assessment) and to assess risk category
• Management of wounds/ulcers, debridement and dressings, wound care education
• Dispense and advise on Diabetic Footwear and total contact Inlays
• Biomechanical assessment and gait analysis
• Sports injuries management and sports specific footwear advice
• Perform partial or total nail avulsion

Requirements

• Degree in Podiatry or equivalent
• At least 5 years of relevant experience can be considered for senior position
• Ability to work in a team or independently
• Must be fully vaccinated with COVID-19 vaccinations.
