About the Role: The Technical Problem Solver

You are the technical anchor of the project. This is a pure Individual Contributor (IC) role—you are not expected to manage people, but you are expected to manage complex technical problems independently.

Your Mission (Key Responsibilities)

• Full Block Ownership: Take full responsibility for high-complexity, high-speed blocks from floorplanning to sign-off.
• Advanced Problem Solving: Independently solve critical bottlenecks in Congestion, Timing, and IR Drop without supervision.
• Sign-off Closure: Drive design closure using STA and Physical Verification tools (Calibre, PrimeTime/Tempus).
• PPA Optimization: Proactively drive strategies to improve area utilization and lower power consumption.

Who We Are Looking For

• Experience: 7 to 10 years of deep technical experience in Physical Design.
• Tool Proficiency:
• Expert mastery of Voltus/Innovus or ICC2.
• Strong experience with Sign-off flows: Calibre, PrimeTime/Tempus, and StarRC/Quantus.
• Track Record: Proven success in taping out designs on advanced nodes.
• Mindset: Result-oriented, autonomous, and able to handle technical ambiguity with confidence.
