Job Overview

Rise Bakehouse is seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Pastry Chef to oversee daily production and help drive the excellence of our baking operations. In this hands-on leadership role, you’ll be responsible for managing the baking team, ensuring consistency and quality, and helping to develop new products that align with the Rise Bakehouse vision.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the daily preparation and baking of cakes, pastries, cookies, and other baked products. Ensure consistent product quality by strictly following established recipes, SOPs, and production standards.
  • Uphold all food hygiene, safety, and cleanliness requirements in accordance with company and regulatory guidelines.
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and efficient workstation at all times.
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels of finished goods, ingredients, and baking supplies.
  • Ensure proper handling, labelling, and storage of products in chillers and freezers.
  • Assist in the picking, packing, and labelling of baked goods for retail and wholesale orders.
  • Perform mise‑en‑place efficiently while minimising wastage and optimising production flow.
  • Support the team in any other ad hoc duties as required by the management.
Job Requirements:
