Job summary

A global technology leader is seeking a Senior Product Engineer in Singapore to enhance product performance and oversee Requests for Quotation. The ideal candidate will have a Master's or Bachelor's in a related field and 5+ years of hands-on experience in optics. Responsibilities include managing customer requirements, collaborating with sales and marketing, and driving First Article Tests. Proficiency in AutoCAD or SolidWorks and knowledge of Six Sigma principles are required for this role.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in optics, opto-mechanical, or opto-electronic systems.
• Strong knowledge of optical components and their functionality.
• Knowledge of Six Sigma and Lean principles.

Responsibilities

• Manage Requests for Quotation (RFQs) with Sales & Marketing and Operations.
• Ensure timely closure of RFQs with proper tracking.
• Drive execution of First Article Test (FAT) and First Lot Production (FLP).
• Lead product performance improvements through yield enhancement.
• Act as the key interface with customers on product-related matters.
