We are seeking a Senior Manager, Product Marketing to shape how DayOne’s data center solutions, engineering capabilities, and sustainability-driven innovations are positioned in the market. You will set the frameworks, narratives, and content systems that support sales, influence customer perception, and differentiate DayOne in a competitive global landscape.

Role Summary

The Senior Manager, Product Marketing owns DayOne’s product and solution narratives across all markets. You will:

  • Define market positioning, customer value propositions, and solution messaging
  • Translate complex engineering, energy, and sustainability capabilities into compelling commercial narratives
  • Develop GTM strategies, lead sales enablement and competitive intelligence
  • Drive strategic content for website, digital channels, and thought leadership
  • Maintain accuracy and consistency of all solution-level information globally
  • Act as the cross-functional bridge between Tech, Sustainability, BD, Brand, and Comms.
Responsibilities
  1. Product & Solution Positioning
    • Define DayOne’s positioning across key customer segments.
    • Develop solution-level and campus-level messaging tailored to customers.
    • Create messaging architectures that can scale across all regions and GTM activities.
  2. Technical-to-Commercial Narrative Building
    • Partner with Engineering, Sustainability, and Operations to translate complex concepts into clear, business-aligned messaging.
    • Develop technical briefs, solution guides, concept papers, and product-level narratives that support BD and leadership.
  3. Go-to-Market (GTM) Strategy
    • Support the launch of new campuses and new markets with GTM plans, positioning strategy, and coordinated messaging.
    • Build launch playbooks and messaging kits aligned with BD, GMs, Comms, and Brand.
  4. Sales & BD Enablement
    • Develop high-quality collateral: pitch narratives, solution briefs, battlecards, comparison matrices, customer one-pagers.
    • Standardize storytelling and ensure all content is accurate, consistent, and up to date across regions.
  5. Website & Digital Messaging
    • Own product/solution messaging on the website, ensuring accuracy and alignment with the product strategy.
    • Lead SEO content strategy related to product/solution themes (topic authority, keyword hierarchy, customer intent).
  6. Thought Leadership & Long-Form Content
    • Develop authoritative content on digital infrastructure trends: sustainability, energy transition, interconnectivity, DC design, regulatory shifts, regional insights.
  7. Market & Competitive Intelligence
    • Monitor industry trends, competitor offerings, regional regulatory shifts, sustainability claims, and hyperscaler expectations.
    • Produce concise insight summaries that inform product positioning, BD strategy, and leadership decision-making.
Qualifications
  • 8–12 years in Product Marketing, Solutions Marketing, or Technical Marketing in:
    • data centers
    • cloud/hyperscale
    • telecom
    • infrastructure / energy / engineering
    • OR B2B technology with complex technical offerings
  • Strong ability to translate engineering and technical content into commercial value.
  • Proven experience defining solution positioning, messaging frameworks, and GTM strategies.
  • Strong writer with excellent structured thinking and narrative design.
  • Experience supporting BD and customer-facing teams.
  • Familiar with SEO strategy and website messaging for B2B solutions.
  • Strong project management and stakeholder leadership skills.
  • Experience supporting executive-level GTM or technical storytelling.
