A prominent healthcare organization in Singapore is seeking a Senior Manager to implement and harmonize security and carpark policies across its facilities. This role involves leading initiatives to ensure efficient security solutions, managing staff, and acting as the primary liaison with law enforcement on security policies. Candidates should have a Bachelor's in Management, at least 10 years' experience in relevant fields, and strong communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required.
As Senior Manager, you will work closely with the Chief Operations Officer to plan and implement harmonised security and carpark policies and services across the SingHealth cluster to maintain efficiency. These comprise of the harmonisation of access control systems and managing the development of the One SingHealth Security Command Centre.
You are also expected to conceptualise, develop and implement comprehensive security solutions that meet our organisational goals for staff, patients and visitors at SingHealth HQ, Academia and Outram Community Hospital.
Additionally, you will provide guidance to Auxiliary police employed by service providers and institutional counterparts to ensure the smooth delivery of security services across the cluster. You are expected to assist institutions with new facilities to develop and operationalise security policies. You will also be the primary liaison with law enforcement agencies and government bodies on cluster-wide security policies.
Other duties include leading the development and implementation of departmental strategic initiatives including workforce planning, budget management and supervision of staff. You will lead in the evaluation and analysis of existing performance indicators to identify faults. You will also be required to ensure that performance targets are met.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Management Studies with a service-related specialisation
Minimum 10 years' experience with at least 4 years in a supervisory/management position, preferably in security or healthcare-related fields
Self-starter with a high degree of resourcefulness and excellent cross-functional communication abilities
Good understanding of security standards such as Software Quality Assurance (SQA) and International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO) preferred
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
