We are partnering with a well‑established container shipping company to seek an experienced Marine Operations Manager to lead and oversee the safe, efficient, and compliant operations of their container vessel fleet. This is a key leadership role focused on ensuring high standards of performance, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence across their global operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily marine operations for container vessels, ensuring compliance with international and local maritime regulations (ISM, MARPOL, SOLAS, etc.).
• Monitor vessel performance, fuel efficiency, voyage planning, and cost control.
• Ensure readiness of vessels through proper certification, audits, safety drills, and maintenance coordination.
• Act as primary liaison with port authorities, P&I clubs, and regulatory bodies.
• Lead investigations into incidents or near misses and drive corrective actions.
• Collaborate with Commercial, Technical, and Crewing teams for seamless operational execution.
• Drive adoption of digital tools to improve fleet performance and monitoring.
• Lead and develop the marine operations team, fostering a strong safety culture.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Maritime Studies, Marine Engineering, Nautical Science, or a related field.
