A leading technology company in Singapore seeks a Senior Manager for Manufacturing Capacity Planning to lead global strategies and execution across manufacturing sites. Responsibilities include defining systems architecture, optimizing capacity models, and collaborating with factory teams on expansions. We are seeking a Senior Manager, Manufacturing Capacity Planning to lead the global capacity planning strategy and execution across our manufacturing sites. This role will define and drive the systems architecture, analytical models, and factory engagement processes to ensure scalable, responsive, and optimized manufacturing capacity in alignment with business growth.
Capacity Planning Systems & Architecture
Define AE Global Capacity Planning systems architecture and analytical process.
Align with Global Advanced Manufacturing and Factory IE on the creation and maintenance of standardized factory capacity models in a robust analytical systems platform.
Capacity Modelling & Optimisation
Development and deployment of robust capacity scheduling optimization models based on linear programming and theory of constraints principles.
Maintain accurate Manufacturing capacity modelling base data (capacity models, routings, active assets, baseline UPH, throughput improvement projects, etc.).
S&OP Integration & Demand Alignment
Lead manufacturing capacity planning process within the S&OP supply cycle to ensure timely and accurate detailed manufacturing capacity support for unconstrained demand requirements.
Monitor the capacity sufficiency, risks and mitigation plans across all manufacturing sites.
Asset Management & Documentation
Oversee comprehensive documentation and lifecycle management of manufacturing assets at all detailed levels: Major manufacturing equipment, manufacturing hardware, tooling, jigs, fixtures, conversion kits, etc.
Factory Collaboration & Enablement
Partner with factory teams to define, validate and execute capacity expansions programs in support with demand requirements.
Collaboration with factories on the definition and execution of capacity expansion programs in support of demand requirements.
Balance capacity, demand loading and asset rationalization across factories to optimize efficiency and responsiveness.
Partner with IE on long range labour capacity modelling and headcount management in support of demand forecast.
Works in a standard office environment and uses office equipment (telephone, PC, copier, fax machine, etc.).
Travel required approximately 25% of time both domestic and international.
Excellent product knowledge with understanding of test equipment and application range
Excellent communicator with the ability to present/communicate clearly complex concepts to different audiences across functions and different levels.
Self-driven/Proactive individual with strong ability to drive and influence without authority.
Able to form and maintain good relationships internally and externally.
Strong analytical skills, problem-solving skills, attention to details and strong business acumen
Commercial and financial acumen with a strong understanding of the cost of failure both the production and the ability to fulfil customer orders.
Strong numeracy, statistical and reporting skills with the ability to analyze, interpret and manage information, data, and trends. Comfortable work with numbers and large datasets
Knowledge and experience of project management skills.
Results orientated and able to prioritize workload to meet deadlines.

10+ years on MFG supply chain management (IE, Demand, Capacity planning).
5+ years in leadership positions.
Demonstrate initiative, adaptability and problem-solving skills in an ambiguous and dynamic environment.
Prior experience in a capacity planning role, preferably within the semiconductor/ high-technology or manufacturing/engineering environment.
Good understanding of the semiconductor industry with a good knowledge of production/ manufacturing processes and lead times.
Experience or knowledge of statistics, forecasting and management information methods and techniques.
Some experience in using SAP IBP, SAP Hana, SAP ECC or any relevant technologies that support efficient and productive ways of working.
Prior experience of building capacity/forecasting models and plans and undertaking complex analysis to create accurate information.
Strong IT systems knowledge and skills including advanced Excel skills and the ability to learn new software package.
